Apple launches new Sports app –

0 0

Apple really doesn’t want you to use non-Apple developed apps. Despite being able to download a slate of apps relating to news, sports, entertainment, productivity, and the likes, Apple also offers ways to access most of what these additional apps do but in one place. We’ve seen this in the past with Apple News and Apple TV, but now it looks like the technology giant is turning its attention to the sports sector too.

The new Apple Sports app is a free service that allows users to access information and scores relating to a slate of teams and leagues from around the world. As it stands, you can find information about the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, NBA, NHL, MLS, NCAA basketball, and Liga MX, but there will also be support for MLB, NFL, NCAAF, NWSL, and WNBA in the future for their coming seasons.

As of right now, Apple Sports is only available in the UK, US, and Canada, but it does already support French and Spanish languages too.
