Drama about the rise of ride-sharing apps

0 0

A hit at the Vault Festival in 2018, Joseph Charlton’s ‘Brilliant Jerks’ returns in expanded form for a 2023 run at Southwark Playhouse. Like his Olivier-nominated ‘Anna X’, it’s fictional but based heavily on real-life events, following the rise of the ride-hailing apps, from one entrepreneur’s idea in 2008 to the massive change in people’s lives the Uber and the like have wrought. Katie-Ann McDonough directs a cast of Sean Delaney, Shubham Saraf and Kiran Sonia Sawar.
