Saturday Night Live did a sendup of sports betting and the ads we see with gambling on games legal in so many states, but of course the sketch show took it one big step further with a fake commercial for “Rock Bottom Kings,” the app you can use to bet on how your friend will lose it all … on betting.
It’s a statement of sorts that people on X (formerly Twitter) felt hit close to home, as you can see below with a sampling of posts from a bunch of folks.

That Rock Bottom Kings skit on #snl felt surprisingly well researched.
For what they were going for they nailed it.
