The snow was flying overnight and that white-knuckle commute you’ve been able to avoid all winter was back.

So let’s celebrate with little news from the boys of summer! The Minnesota Twins started spring training with pitchers and catchers on Wednesday, and now comes the announcement of all of the spring games you can hear on WCCO Radio plus watch on TV.

The defending American League Central Division Champion Minnesota Twins will have 14 games on the radio on 830 WCCO, 102.9 The Wolf plus the Audacy app. A handful of games will also be available streaming exclusively on the Audacy app, bringing the total number of broadcasts to 20 (in-market restrictions apply to all streaming devices including desktop, mobile and smart speakers).

The first game, a traditional matchup against the University of Minnesota, will be a special one. Friday, February 23 the Twins game and broadcast will include a special tribute to Golden Gopher Head Coach John Anderson, who enters his 40th and final season as the program’s skipper. That game can be heard on WCCO, 102.9 The Wolf and streaming on the Audacy app.

Bally Sports North, who the Twins just came to agreement with for the 2024 season, will telecast eight Twins Grapefruit League games, all of which will also be streamed live on the Bally Sports app.
